WHAT YOULL DO
Lead and manage integrated Design-Build (DB) and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) teams from project inception through completion including participation during pursuit phases when requested
Serve as the primary point of coordination between federal agencies internal teams subcontractors and external stakeholders
Develop manage and control project budgets ensuring effective resource allocation and cost containment throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations compliance standards and security requirements proactively identifying and mitigating project risks
Create maintain and manage detailed project schedules tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion
Supervise mentor and guide project teams fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and high performance
Prepare and present clear comprehensive project status reports to ensure transparency and alignment with all stakeholders
WHAT YOULL BRING
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing federal construction or infrastructure projects
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
PMP certification preferred; additional certifications such as PgMP ITIL or Six Sigma are a plus
In-depth knowledge of federal regulations compliance standards and procurement processes (e.g. FAR DFARS)
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project Primavera or equivalent and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong leadership communication problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to pass a background check and obtain or maintain a security clearance as required by the project
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing construction contracts for federal agencies such as DoE DoD DHS GSA or similar entities
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools
Demonstrated success managing both small- and large-scale state or federal programs
