The Human Resources Liaison is responsible for introducing new clinicians to Deer Oaks credentialing process and providing system support and training to ensure prompt enrollment. The role acts as a bridge between Human Resources clinical staff and the Enrollment Specialist ensuring all documentation and processes are completed accurately and timely. This role does not make credentialing determinations but facilitates documentation and system readiness.
Essential Functions:
- Welcomes new clinical staff and provides introduction to the credentialing system with training as needed
- Explains required credentialing documents and provides instructions for uploading them into the system
- Assists with navigating systems and login issues
- Executes required documentation to ensure a timely start of the credentialing process
- Creates new hire login for the credentialing system and populates identification numbers to begin the import of data
- Works with the clinician to finish onboarding in the credentialing system and ensures required Docusign agreements are executed for information releases
- Ensures the clinician attests to the documents imported for their profile in the system
- Assists with creating CAQH ID/Account if needed by the clinician
- Enrolls the clinician to obtain an NPI if they do not have one
- Helps gather missing documents that were not imported to the system and works with the clinician to upload those documents or loads them for the clinician
- Ensures completion and accuracy of new hire documents and communicates a ready status with Enrollment Specialist
- Orders business cards and other onboarding items as required
- Requests HR related documents as required during the onboarding process for I-9 and E-verification process
- Serves as a liaison for questions or concerns between new and existing employees and the Director of Employee Relations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates preferred
- 2 years of relevant credentialing provider enrollment or healthcare onboarding experience
- Knowledgeable of the assigned states localities and current health plan requirements for credentialing clinicians with those states and localities.
Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to engage with clinical staff and managers
- Ability to research and analyze data and work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to track and report on completion statuses accurately and timely
- Proactive problem-solving and follow-up skills
- Professional and positive demeanor; acts as a trusted point of contact
- Knowledge and understanding of the confidential nature of information related to HR and Credentialing
