About the Role

The Site Electrician is accountable to the Electrical Leading Hand for the delivery of all field electrical fit outs and associated equipment small and large project overhauls service work as well as providing ongoing service to external and internal customers for Nepean Power projects. This is a full time opportunity based at our Thornton workshop with travel as required.

This role will also require you to:

Assist in the delivery of all site electrical fit outs and associated equipment small and large projects and service work
Interpret electrical schematics and scopes of work
Provide ongoing service and support for existing clientele internal and external whilst working toward 100 percent productivity
Investigate customer complaints identify issues and recommend remedial measures
Fault finding and function testing of electrical equipment

Multiple roles are available. Nepean Power can accommodate both recently qualified Electricians and highly experienced veterans of the industry.

Our Ideal Candidate

Relevant electrical trade qualifications with three years relevant experience as an electrician or an equivalent combination of education training and experience
Strong experience with underground electrical equipment
Previous experience with electrical commissioning
Exposure to mining conveyor systems
Project management experience would be advantageous
Valid Australian working rights
