We are Hiring CNMIII - Theatre Department for our Hospital client in Dublin.
Job type: Permanent / Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and managerial leadership to the Theatre Department ensuring safe high-quality patient-centred care at all times.
- Manage the day-to-day operational running of the theatre services including staffing scheduling and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with NMBI standards hospital policies infection prevention and control guidelines and national healthcare regulations.
- Lead motivate and support nursing and multidisciplinary teams promoting a positive and professional working environment.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical practices implementing quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care standards.
- Take responsibility for staff performance management including supervision appraisals training and professional development.
- Actively participate in risk management incident reporting and audit processes to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively ensuring cost-efficient use of theatre equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with consultants anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective multidisciplinary communication and care delivery.
Requirements
Registered on the General Division of the NMBI Register
5 years post-registration experience in an acute setting
Relevant qualification and/or experience in the specialty
Minimum 2 years management experience
Management training programme
Proven clinical competence and professionalism
Strong IT communication and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Highly motivated adaptable and able to work under pressure
Commitment to continuous professional development
Ability to work effectively with staff at all organisational levels
