We are looking for an Internal Medicine or Family Practice physician ideally with 2 or more years of experience to join Colorado Mountain this role you will provide comprehensive care to adult patients focusing on the prevention diagnosis and management of a wide range of health conditions. As an integral part of our clinic you will deliver patient-centered care collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and promote health and wellness within the community. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing chronic conditions performing routine check-ups and providing personalized treatment plans to optimize patient health outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty.
  • Degree from an accredited program
  • Professional licensure - M.D. or D.O.
  • Current Colorado license in good standing required
  • Federal DEA certification; Medical Specialty license or certification; Board certified or Board eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff office credentialing and privileges required

What you will do:

  • Provides and manages direct patient care including physical examinations evaluations assessments diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population.
  • Prescribes or administers pharmaceuticals other medications immunizations and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Provides health and wellness advice to patients including diet physical activity hygiene and disease prevention.
  • Monitors patients conditions and progress re-evaluating treatments and explains procedures and test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • May manage the daily operations of a specific medical program patient care unit or research function.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
  • Follows established departmental policies procedures and objectives continuous quality improvement objectives and safety environmental and/or infection control standards.
  • As appropriate to the position participates in specified health promotion education and/or prevention programs.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per year.
