Job Description

Job Title - Mainframe COBOL Tandem

Experience - 5- 10 Years

Location - Chennai/ Bangalore/ Pune

Notice - Immediate to 15 Days

Requirements:-

Develop services/components using TAL/COBOL/C and TACL scripts.
Build/maintain Pathway serverclasses interposes communication and APIs.
Work with data storage (Enscribe/NonStop SQL) and ensure transactional integrity with TMF.
Participate in code/design reviews; write unit/integration tests and deployment scripts.
Use nonStop utilities (FUP/SCF/OSS Net Batch) for build release and operations.
Troubleshoot production issues (logs Inspect/Measure) perform RCA and implement fixes.
Follow secure coding standards and documentation practices; collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.

Qualifications:

5-8 years overall with strong hands on HP NonStop (Tandem).
Proficiency in TAL/COBOL or C/C on Guardian and OSS; TACL scripting.
Experience with Enscribe files NonStop SQL TMF transactions.
Familiarity with Pathway Spooler FUP/SCF/OSS tools net Batch.
Basics of networking (NS/TCP sockets TCP/IP) and message queues.
Version controls (Git) and builds automation; exposure to CI/CD is a plus.
Good communication teamwork and problem solving skills.
