Lead- Mainframe Support (COBOL)

As a Mainframe Developer you are responsible for transforming the design and product vision into a seamless and delightful product. You dedicate time to stay on top of the fast-changing tech space and invest a lot of energy in learning new tricks. You are caught up on industry trends and have a passion for developing solutions that delight our clients and business partners alike. Mainframe based systems are still the backbone of our banking processing and while we are transforming the way we are processing in the future we still have a need to enhance our systems to stay current with regulatory and industry trends. You will be primarily working on mainframe development but expected to work on distributed technology tasks as well.

You bring 10 years of experience with COBOL and DB2.

You are skilled in working with MVS JCL and utilities

You have an understanding CICS and how to make WEB Service calls from the mainframe using Z/OS connect.

Knowledge with unit testing and test automation tools is a plus.

Banking Knowledge is a plus

You have a desire to expand your current Skill set to newer technologies as we transform the banking platform in the upcoming years.

Knowledge of distributed technologies.

Familiarity with cloud technologies.

Our tech stack: (Z/OS stack) COBOL/ DB2/ PLI / IMS/ CICS/ Z/os Connect/IBM IDz/ Github -> mandatory

Junit / Oracle / DataStage / Pivotal Cloud Foundry / Salesforce / APEX -> good to have

Nice to Have:

Experience working with Vended applications running on Either Windows Servers Linux Servers or Mainframe.

You have an understanding of APIs and how to use them in practice.

You have experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools like Azure ADO and/or Confluence.
