Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Mainframe OS & Infrastructure Support
Manage and maintain z/OS LPARs ensuring stability performance and security across production QA test and development environments.

Support and optimize environments running CICS COBOL Assembler JCL VSAM GDGs and related mainframe components.
Perform system monitoring problem determination and diagnostics for OS level and region level incidents.
Participate in on call rotation and provide extended hours support as required.

Batch Scheduling & Integration Support
Support large scale batch workloads driven by JCL and enterprise schedulers (e.g. TWS Control M Autosys).

Optimize CPU/MIPS consumption and eliminate bottlenecks across OS Db2 and Datacom orchestrations (e.g. peak window tuning).
Manage integrations involving FTP EDI TIBCO MFTP and enterprise warehouse data flows.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or equivalent experience.
7 years of experience supporting enterprise mainframe platforms.

Strong hands on experience with:

o z/OS JCL CICS COBOL Assembler VSAM

Experience supporting large multi LPAR environments with 24 7 uptime requirements.
