Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Mainframe OS & Infrastructure Support
Manage and maintain z/OS LPARs ensuring stability performance and security across production QA test and development environments.
Support large scale batch workloads driven by JCL and enterprise schedulers (e.g. TWS Control M Autosys).
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or equivalent experience.
7 years of experience supporting enterprise mainframe platforms.
Mainframe OS & Infrastructure Support
Manage and maintain z/OS LPARs ensuring stability performance and security across production QA test and development environments.
- Support and optimize environments running CICS COBOL Assembler JCL VSAM GDGs and related mainframe components.
- Perform system monitoring problem determination and diagnostics for OS level and region level incidents.
- Participate in on call rotation and provide extended hours support as required.
Support large scale batch workloads driven by JCL and enterprise schedulers (e.g. TWS Control M Autosys).
- Optimize CPU/MIPS consumption and eliminate bottlenecks across OS Db2 and Datacom orchestrations (e.g. peak window tuning).
- Manage integrations involving FTP EDI TIBCO MFTP and enterprise warehouse data flows.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or equivalent experience.
7 years of experience supporting enterprise mainframe platforms.
- Strong hands on experience with:
- Experience supporting large multi LPAR environments with 24 7 uptime requirements.
