Singleton Reynolds is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our collegial supportive and dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated legal professional that thrives on work that is both interesting and complex within a solicitors practice. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the commercial real estate practice group in all aspects of its busy practice including drafting reviewing and analyzing contracts of purchase and sale easements rights of way leases subdivisions and strata plan filings mortgages loan and security documentation disclosure statements and amendments thereto conducting title/due diligence searches and all other matters related to commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions leasing development and financing.



THE ROLE


Support and provide lawyers with exceptional work and assistance.

Conduct due diligence searches providing search results and reports for clients.

Conduct of and drafting of documents for commercial real estate transactions and commercial loans.

Conduct of and drafting of documents for new developments subdivisions airspace parcels and strata plans.

Preparation and registration of charges for land development and/or release of charges with the land title office.

Preparation and registration of charges for land development.

Correspond communicate and coordinate with clients outside parties and opposing parties to resolve Firm Real Estate needs.

Receive and disperse trust funds and conduct reporting.

Support the Real Estate legal team with a wide array of administrative tasks.

Completes time entries and billings.

Opening and organizing client files.

Performs other related duties as required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Certificate of completion from an approved paralegal certification or diploma program or relevant Paralegal experience.

Experience working as a legal administrative assistant.

Superior organizational/document management skills with a strong attention to detail.

Exceptional aptitude for software and systems.

Advanced knowledge of database management.

Computer knowledge including MS Word MS Excel Outlook Case Management Software and Time tracker software.
