Your role

The Media Solutions team is looking for a Senior Coordinator Distribution. The Senior Coordinator collaborates with members of the Distribution team in order to support the growth and success of the Distribution department by contributing to the development evaluation and implementation of partnerships and projects.

The Senior Coordinator contributes to the various distribution lines of business with a focus on business development liaising with a variety of internal stakeholders as well as external business partners. This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of the content and service distribution industry to provide unique perspectives on existing challenges and work on new solutions.

Key Duties

Partnership Operations Coordination and Business Development :

  • Participate in business development by assisting the team on files and negotiations including evaluating new business opportunities.

  • Participate in or facilitate client and internal meetings provide insights analyses and recommendations.

  • Coordinate projects to ensure rigorous and timely advancement following up with internal stakeholders and documentation as necessary.

  • Liaise with clients to ensure advancement of projects and provide best-in-class customer service for business partner activities.

  • Follow up on commercial leads and negotiate business partnerships with small-size external organizations to generate revenue.

  • Review and manage templated contracts liaising with the legal department to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Provide administrative support as required.

Business Analysis Competitive Intelligence and Reporting :

  • Perform research and analysis regarding expansion opportunities emerging technologies players market trends and competitive dynamics.

  • Gather and provide business intelligence and market analysis to support decision-making by senior leadership.

  • Engage in and/or coordinate distribution planning processes within the team and with other internal stakeholders.

  • Provide support in partner negotiations with documentation.

Communications and Marketing :

  • Prepare and send communication materials for external distribution including emails letters newsletters and contracts.

  • Collaborate with the team to select content for promotion through newsletters and social media.

  • Create and coordinate promotional materials and marketing campaigns to enhance content visibility and usage.

  • Draft edit translate and prepare presentations and documents adhering to strict timelines.

We are looking for a candidate with the following :

  • Position requires a university degree in management communications Media or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3 years performing related duties.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the media industry and emerging technologies.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.

  • Excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong relationship building and client management skills.

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) together with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Superior creative skills and critical thinking in developing solutions.

  • Demonstrated capability to communicate with confidence and clarity to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive demands and prioritize rapidly changing needs under pressure.

  • Ability to deal with others with tact and diplomacy.

  • Experience in contract management and negotiation is an asset.

  • A moderate degree of dexterity and speed for computer operations.

  • Availability for overtime during peak times and ability to attend industry conferences as a delegate.
