PLNU is seeking a service-oriented and detail-driven professional to support the operations of the Liberty Station Conference Center and Mission Valley campus. This role is central to delivering exceptional experiences for campus partners and external guests while keeping events schedules and facilities running smoothly. Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to creating positive client and guest experiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced event-driven environment
Comfort coordinating across departments vendors and student employees
Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights and weekends during events
Professional presence when interacting with faculty staff students and public clients
High level of accountability and reliability in managing schedules and on-site support
Interest in learning and supporting operational processes across multiple campuses
Ability to remain calm and responsive when addressing real-time event needs

What Youll Be Doing
Support the LSCC Manager by submitting work orders and coordinating building needs
Respond to public inquiries schedule tours and provide initial event information and pricing details
Support event execution by working on site during scheduled events and assisting with setup needs
Prepare and send final invoices and support contract and billing processes as needed
Maintain the Liberty Station master calendar and process event request forms in CourseDog
Build weekly student employee schedules using Humanity software based on event requirements
Support hiring training and onboarding of student employees
Approve student employee timecards in Workday
Provide receptionist and information desk coverage for Liberty Station and Mission Valley campuses
Serve as secondary Emergency Responder Coordinator for building emergencies
Assist other Auxiliary Services departments as needed
Qualifications
Bachelors degree and two years of administrative and/or customer service experience recommended. Must have strong customer service organizational and relational skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office required.
Understanding of and commitment to the spiritual mission of the university.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with various audiences such as vendors staff faculty industry partners and the community.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills; able to keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
An articulate professional demeanor.
Flexible with the ability to adjust expected tasks and schedule to the updated priorities.
Works well with people and is responsive to feedback.
Able to report to multiple campuses in a given week as well as flexibility to work nights/weekend during peak event season
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy environment with a proven ability to meet and complete multiple deadlines and tasks.
Willingness to go above and beyond the requirements of the job to be innovative and supportive.
Highly detail oriented motivated and efficient.
