Job Description
Provide tailored support to learners with a range of Special Educational Needs including ASD ADHD SEMH and learning difficulties
Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning behaviour and emotional development
Support learners who may be disabled and or disadvantaged
Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Support personal development independence and social skills
Follow individual Education Health and Care Plans
Maintain a safe positive and inclusive learning environment
Use basic IT systems confidently and manage workload independently while contributing to a team approach
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people SEN experience desirable but not essential
Education to Level 2 in English and Maths
Patient empathetic and resilient approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to self manage and work collaboratively
Genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
