Job Summary

We are recruit candidate based locally able to work full-time with at least 6 months UK based experience in a similar position.

The home:

Care Home in New Milton Hampshire offers 24/7 residential care elderly care end of life care respite care and general nursing care as well as dementia care.

Qualifications/Requirements for the job:

Strong communication skills
Ability to follow care plans effectively
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Experience in providing care in a home care setting
Valid drivers license for own transportation to the job
Proficiency in English and basic IT skills
Prior experience in a care home environment
Team player
Ability to work on own initiative

Responsabilities include:

Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs e.g. physical emotional and spiritual
Provide supervision and attention when needed ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
Answer Nurse Call system giving assistance as required
Answer the door and telephone appropriately
Respond accordingly and pass on messages promptly
Report on well-being of Residents
Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs hearing aids spectacles etc
