Sales Executive drives company revenue by acquiring new clients and managing existing relationships acting as the primary link between the organization and its customers. They identify prospects through research and cold calling conduct product presentations negotiate contracts and meet sales targets often working in office-based (inside sales) or field roles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively finding new business opportunities through cold calling networking and social media.
Client Relationship Management: Maintaining relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and account growth.
Sales Presentations: Demonstrating products or services highlighting value propositions tailored to client needs.
Negotiation & Closing: Handling objections negotiating terms and finalising contracts to achieve sales targets.
Market Analysis: Staying informed about industry trends competitor activities and market opportunities.
CRM Management: Recording all sales activities pipeline updates and customer data in CRM software.
Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding daily weekly and monthly sales quotas.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a sales executive or in a relevant role.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal negotiation and communication skills.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field is often preferred.
Tools: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
