Job Summary

We are seeking Lab Technician (Testing) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

The role will involve taking responsibility for various activities related to sample characterisation.
The individual will be tasked with testing using specified methods and standards ensuring process compliance maintaining quality assurance and control and releasing reports.
They will also be responsible for periodically assessing the uncertainty of measurement for identified parameters in the samples.
Ensuring the completeness of all necessary information records documents worksheets standard operating procedures (SOPs) calibration schedules preventive maintenance proficiency testing (PT) and internal laboratory controls (ILC) will be part of the role.
Handling equipment breakdown maintenance promptly will be a key responsibility.
The incumbent must diligently follow the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 system within the laboratory.
Work under the supervision and guidance of the Assistant Laboratory Manager and report on daily activities and functioning.

Requirements

Will need either 3-6 months or 1 to 3 years of experience in the testing field.
The candidate will require either a postgraduate degree in Engineering or Science a graduate degree in Engineering or Science a diploma in Engineering an ITI certification in refrigeration or a relevant field.
