About the role:

Gartner is looking for a strong ETL Datawarehouse Sr Test Engineer with a background in Enterprise Datawarehouse ETL and BI Report Quality validation expertise.

What you will do:

• Develop implement and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for Enterprise Datawarehouse solutions.

• Conduct thorough testing of ETL and BI Reports to ensure data accuracy consistency and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and business rules. Identify document and track defects and inconsistencies in data management processes.

• Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Validate data integration and data migration processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems.

• Develop test scripts for data testing in Enterprise Datawarehouse for data accuracy data completeness & data integrity.

Who you are:

• 4-6 years of experience in Information Technology with specialization in Dawarehouse/ETL Quality Assurance.

• 4 years of hands-on proficiency in SQL and data querying tools for comparing and testing data.

• Strong understanding of Datawarehouse concepts including Extract Transform Load(ETL) Business Intelligence Reports Dimension and Fact tables.

• Proven experience in quality assurance specifically in Enterprise Datawarehouse environments.

• Strong understanding of data management principles data governance and data quality standards.

• Experience with ETL tools and Query platforms such as Informatica Azure Data Factory SSMS TOAD

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
