Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Select and edit and articles features and other content with accuracy grammar style and consistency.
- Ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality and is delivered on time
- Manage a team of sub editors and provide guidance and feedback as needed.
- Collaborate with writers designers and other team members to ensure that all content is aligned with the companys goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain style guidelines and ensure that all content adheres to them
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that the companys content remains relevant and engaging.
- Familiarity with Quark Express and Page making is a must.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in journalism English or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in sub editing from the publishing industry.
- Excellent editing and page making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency throughout content.
- Ability to manage a team and provide guidance and feedback.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of style guidelines and ability to develop and maintain them.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
