Introduction

ITBM is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to support electrical operations and maintenance activities in Southern Poland. This role requires formally trained technicians with experience in Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems strong safety awareness and the ability to work in accordance with Safe System of Work (SSoW) procedures.

Position Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for carrying out inspection maintenance and repair of Low Voltage (LV) electrical cables distribution systems and equipment. The role ensures safe reliable electrical operations through strict compliance with ITBM procedures electrical safety rules and Safe System of Work (SSoW) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection testing maintenance and repair of LV electrical cables panels and associated equipment.
Conduct routine electrical inspections and report defects or non-compliances.
Support fault-finding troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure all electrical works are performed in accordance with Safe System of Work (SSoW) site procedures and safety regulations.
Act as a Skilled and/or Competent Person under SSoW when appointed.
Accurately complete maintenance records inspection reports and technical documentation.
Support planned and preventive maintenance programs.
Maintain safe working practices proper use of PPE and high housekeeping standards.
Participate in safety briefings toolbox talks and mandatory training.

Qualifications

Training & Certification

Formal technical training in Low Voltage (LV) electrical cable and equipment maintenance and inspections.
Appointed as a Skilled and/or Competent Person in accordance with the Safe System of Work (SSoW).
Formal Safe System of Work (SSoW) training completed within the last three (3) years.

Skills and Abilities

Good technical knowledge of LV electrical systems and components.
Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong awareness of electrical safety principles and risk control measures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in English with the ability to communicate clearly and complete technical documentation.
