The Nigeria program established in 2018 is headquartered in Minna Niger state. Were currently serving over 300000 unique farmers across the state via our inputs on credit Core program inputs on cash Retail program and have a free tree seedling distribution Agroforestry program. About the Role:

The Sales Unit is the engine of farmer productivity. We facilitate access to life-changing agricultural inputs ranging from fertilizers and seeds to quality-of-life products through both cash and credit models. Our team focuses on building long-term relationships by designing flexible credit programs that align with the farming cycle ensuring that even the most remote farmers have the tools they need to maximize their yields and secure their familys future.


The Virtual Sales Supervisor leads the programs team sales channels overseeing a team of Virtual Sales Officers to deliver on revenue and farmer number targets. This role holder is responsible for driving the Unified Sales roadmap ensuring we serve more farmers efficiently through remote engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Team Leadership and Performance Management

  • Supervise and coach a team of Virtual Sales Officers across assigned districts.

  • Set weekly and monthly targets; track progress via dashboards and reports.

  • Conduct regular coaching sessions focused on conversion tactics client engagement and repayment follow-up.

  • Lead daily and weekly check-ins to align team priorities share insights and address performance challenges.

  • Review call logs and client data to ensure professionalism and accurate recordkeeping.

  • Sales Quality and Client Relationship Oversight

    • Ensure high-quality client engagement that reflects OAFs Farmers First principle.

    • Support the team in refining sales scripts objection handling and closing techniques.

    • Monitor at-risk or high-value clients and ensure timely follow-up and escalation to the Credit team.

    • Personally engage with clients as needed to resolve escalations or support field integration.

    3. Data Tracking and ReportingConsolidate team-level reports on sales repayment and client satisfaction.

    • Analyse performance trends to identify gaps and recommend data-driven solutions.

    • Use CRM and call-tracking tools (e.g. Salesforce Google Sheets dashboards) to monitor KPIs.

    • Collaborate with Fulfilment Credit and Mobilisation teams to improve lead quality and repayment efficiency.

    4. Compliance and Continuous Improvement

    • Personally engage with clients as needed to resolve escalations or support field integration.

    • Ensure full adherence to OAFs internal policies sales ethics and data protection standards.

    • Recommend operational improvements and digital tools to improve efficiency and team impact.

    • Document tested improvements and shared learnings with leadership during monthly syncs.

    • Contribute to refresher training and onboarding for the Virtual Sales team.

    Work Schedule:

    This role is fully onsite on a full-time basis and the successful candidate may be assigned as required by the manager based on operational needs.



    Requirements

    Qualifications

    Across all roles these are the general qualifications we look for.


    For this role specifically you will have:

    • Leadership & Coaching: Ability to motivate and guide a team to meet performance goals.

    • Sales Strategy: Strong understanding of sales funnels customer retention and credit recovery.

    • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Hausa Nupe or Yoruba preferred.

    • Tech Proficiency: Skilled in Google Workspace CRM systems and call-tracking tools.

    • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret reports and drive performance through insights.

    Knowledge:

    • BSc/HND in Business Agriculture or a related field.

    • Minimum of 3 years in telesales agribusiness or financial services including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

    • Proven experience leading remote or hybrid teams.

    • NYSC discharge certificate required.


    • Technical skills:

      • Ability to use computer and software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace (Word/Docs and Excel/Sheets)

      • Proven knowledge base and experience in Research Project Management Agronomy Animal Husbandry and Trials Implementation as well as coordination of field-based team

      • 1 to 2 years of experience in collating cleaning auditing and analyzing simple to complex datasets

      • Ability to develop and manage project trackers and dashboards with little manager support

    • In line with the job level.

    • One Acre Fund provides employees with a percentage of their basic salaries for housing allowance and child support.

    • Retirement savings: OAF contributes 10% and you contribute 8% of your basic salary to your retirement savings account.

    • One Acre Fund also provides monthly reimbursements to cover work-related costs for transport and airtime.

    • Relocation support is not available for this position.
