Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter that will be based at the Phillipi Cape Town branch

Assist with routine servicing and maintenance of plant and equipment

Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics using basic tools and equipment

Inspect equipment for wear defects and safety issues

Assist with breakdown repairs and emergency call-outs when required

Maintain accurate job cards service records and maintenance reports

Ensure tools equipment and work areas are kept clean and safe

Comply with company policies safety standards and OHSA regulations

Work collaboratively with senior Fitters and workshop staff

Requirements

Grade 12

N2N3 Mechanical Engineering or Fitter related qualification

Minimum 24 years experience working with mechanical equipment

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components

Experience with conveyors and shredders

Experience with steel processing plant equipment trucks and excavators advantages

Required Skills:
