Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join our hospitality operations team in Sydney. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for guests clients and visitors providing excellent service handling inquiries and supporting daily administrative tasks.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in hotel front desk operations hospitality administration and guest services.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests visitors and clients in a professional manner
- Handle check-ins check-outs reservations and bookings efficiently
- Answer phone calls respond to emails and manage correspondence
- Maintain guest records reports and administrative documentation
- Coordinate with housekeeping F&B and other hospitality departments
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously
- Assist with scheduling office management and administrative support tasks
- Ensure the reception area is clean welcoming and organized
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Receptionist Front Desk Officer or Guest Service Agent
- Background in hospitality hotel or customer service industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospitality management systems (PMS)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume hotels resorts or corporate hospitality settings
- Knowledge of booking software POS and CRM tools
- Multilingual skills (English required; Arabic or other languages are an advantage)
