The role
As a Dental Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for patients coordinate the scheduling of patient appointments and welcoming them to the clinic. Other duties include providing relevant information banking invoicing collecting of fees and payments and participating in safe-work practices as determined by dental regulatory agencies.
As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for providing quality clinical and professional assistance and support to oral health clinicians teaching staff and dentistry students to ensure a high level of patient care is delivered.
This role would suit an individual with sound dental assisting skills and understanding of infection control within the dental environment. You will also be a great team player and have a focus on the provision of quality patient care.
We are ideally looking for a candidate who is able to work in both roles (Dental Receptionist and Dental Assistant) however we encourage applications for either of the roles as well.
