Mission
Support one of Americas most advanced manufacturing environments by ensuring safe reliable and efficient operation of high-voltage and control systems across a steel production facility. This role exists to sustain continuous safe production empowering teams to solve problems at the source and keep operations running at peak performance.
Performance Objectives
Maintain and Troubleshoot Electrical Systems: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment including AC/DC motors drives power distribution PLCs and overhead cranes.
Apply Electrical Theory in Real Situations: Use a solid understanding of Ohms and Kirchhoffs Laws to identify diagnose and resolve electrical failures safely and efficiently.
Ensure Safety and Compliance: Lead by example in upholding and improving facility safety standards; initiate safe work practices and reinforce a culture of vigilance.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work effectively within a high-performing maintenance teamshare information propose improvements and act on feedback.
Innovate and Improve: Contribute to process improvement initiatives that increase reliability reduce downtime and optimize energy efficiency.

Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Proven electrical troubleshooting and repair skills in an industrial or military environment
Experience with medium and low-voltage systems motor controls drives and power distribution up to 480V
Solid understanding of electrical theory (Ohms & Kirchhoffs Laws)
Strong safety record and ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics
Preferred: PLC troubleshooting high-voltage systems overhead crane maintenance substation experience
