About the role

The Injury Metrics Lead is responsible for the continuous improvement of the measurement quality access timeliness and analysis of injury metrics and associated measures of disability cost and road safety burden.

About the Team

  • This role will be a part of our Research Insights and Evaluation team within the Road Safety Division which is responsible for identifying and developing evidenced based best practice strategy investments and programs across a wide range of areas that will most cost effectively reduce transport fatalities and serious injuries.
  • Working closely with the with specialist data agencies Victorias road safety partners and divisions within the TAC who are involved in the collection and use of injury and claims data including the TAC Strategy team.

What were looking for

Expertise in Injury Metrics and Data Analysis

Ability to lead assessments improvements and strategic recommendations for injury metrics integrating national and international best practices.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
Work closely with various specialists agencies and partners to align TAC data with best practices fostering strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally.

Effective Communication and Leadership

Synthesise complex findings into actionable insights communicate effectively with senior leadership and government agencies and provide mentoring and guidance to team members while adhering to TACs values and leadership model.
