MoranAssistant Superintendent for Human ResourcesSUBJECT: New CTE Program Design Coordinator CTE Program Development Leader: Shape the Future of Career Education Funds are available to support two positions at 62.5 hours each not to exceed 125 hours total to assist the program design and implementation of two new Chapter 74 CTE programs opening in the fall of 2026. -Electrical technology-multimedia and BroadcastingThis is an exciting opportunity for educators to help launch and shape two new Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs! Employees in this role will collaborate closely with the Director of CTE to ensure these programs are high-quality engaging and aligned with Career Connected Learning Frameworks and Massachusetts Pathway include:Assisting with Part B Chapter 74 applications to establish program approvalDeveloping program-specific scopes and sequencesCreating and implementing advisory boards to guide program growth and connect students with industry leadersSupporting student recruitment and schedulingCompleting other tasks as needed to ensure programs are ready for launch and aligned to state and national standardsThis role is ideal for educators who are passionate about innovating curriculum connecting students to real-world careers and building programs that make a lasting impact. All work is to be completed in partnership with the Director of CTE by June 30 offering a meaningful opportunity to leave a lasting mark on Brocktons CTE offerings. QUALIFICATIONS:BHS Faculty with national and state frameworks for Career and Technical with CTE grant writing and/or CTE chapter 74 applications Familiarity with writing a Scope and SequenceFamiliarity with creating CTE advisory boardsFamiliarity with CTE recruitment networking Experience in School Guidance counselor and/or scheduling DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the creation of the Scope and Sequence for both the Electrical and the Multimedia/Broadcasting programAssist in writing the Part B application for both applicationsAssist in creating and sustaining an advisory board for each program by networking and contacting local industry partners Assist in all recruitment efforts Assist in schedulingAttend regularly scheduled meetings after schoolEnsure all work is aligned to Career Connected Learning Frameworks and and esses are aligned to the implementation of the Massachusetts Pathway : Contractual Rate FUNDING SOURCE: Grant Funded (FC 4222A )
