THE ROLE

Join the Fleet Insights & Tools team to design and build world-class test automation infrastructure that is essential to our continuous delivery pipeline. You will be the linchpin that eliminates testing bottlenecks for the entire engineering organization directly bolstering the quality and accelerating the release cycle of our flagship FlashBlade and FlashArray products. This is a highly collaborative role where your innovative solutions will empower every internal engineering team to move faster and deliver higher quality features.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Own the design and development of scalable automated test frameworks to ensure the high-quality feature delivery of our all-flash storage arrays.
• Architect and implement critical infrastructure tools and automation that streamline and optimize the entire testing environment for continuous integration.
• Develop advanced debug tools and perform deep-dive analysis on complex test failures across a sophisticated multi-machine hardware and software stack.
• Drive process efficiency by identifying analyzing and solving challenging engineering problems through persistence insight and an ORE mindset.
• Collaborate across all internal engineering teams to embed quality ensure seamless testing and ultimately deliver a superior high-impact product experience for our global customers.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Expert-level proficiency in a major programming language such as Python Go Java C or C with a track record of using it to build robust production-quality systems.
• Deep experience developing system software projects focused on areas like distributed systems operating systems hypervisors Linux kernel or database internals.
• Proven design and architectural sensibility demonstrated through the successful development of tools services and automation to manage and improve engineering operations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills needed to diagnose and resolve challenging failures within a complex continuous integration automation framework.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru India office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
