Roles and Responsibilities
As the Steam and Generator Advanced Manufacturing Engineer you will:
Manage/ Lead global NPIs ToW and outsourcing projects products and technology to secure Safety Quality Delivery and Cost
Own component introduction/ implementation/ qualification from design and manufacturability through stable production (industrialization)
Serve as an NPI Project Manager in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering manufacturing sourcing product management at Gas Power Level (Incl. Steam Generator Gas and Repairs)
Improve and standardize the way of working within the team through the application of Lean methodology
Ensure the proper team is engaged in the Iterations from concept through final design with cross functional teams to ensure balance of producibility and cost
Be responsible for on time and on budget delivery of NPIs and strategic projects for both new units and services
Serve as a technical process owner for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues at Gas Power Level
Drive new technology and advanced manufacturing techniques that relate to Steam Turbines & Generator components.
Manage and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Technical knowledge and experience in Steam Turbines/ Generators
Strong project management skills and detail-orientation
Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training
Proficient in Microsoft products
