The Team:

The CIQ External API teamis responsible formanaging all external APIs that enable clients to access and consume data from multiple data sources including CIQ CIQ Pro and IPD. These APIs support over 800 active external clients making this a critical client-facingcomponentof our business.

The team is currently focused on expanding integrations with new data providers such asChatIQ Visible Alpha and SNL Financial as well as enhancing existing functionalities for client consumption and improving overall API performance.

Also ensure the GDS APIframworkis scalable for the increased usage growth modernize where necessary perform mandatory maintenance BAU and general systems upkeeping. Improve Disaster Recovery/High Availability posture andultimately migratetheCiQto CIQ Pro.

The Impact:

This role isvery critical as the individual will contribute to the development and delivery ofChatIQand GQL onboarding in GDS as well as delivering to external clients. Additionally they will need to manage the infrastructure of GDS ensure that existing API functionalities are not broken and support any client issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software based on business requirements workflows and use cases; execute andmaintainthe test cases and document test results.

  • CIQ Pro Migration from CIQ.

  • Drive the setup configuration and maintenance ofenvironmentand framework.

  • Activelyparticipatein continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures by analyzing reported bugs/issues with a strong emphasis on using automation to shorten the SDLC.

  • Identifyprioritizeand execute tasks in Agile software developmentenvironment.

  • Mentoring& providingtechnical guidance to team members.

  • Provide effective communicationregardingissues testingstatusand potential risks.

  • Eagerto learnnew technologiesand approaches and be part of a very progressive test team.

WhatWereLooking For:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or Engineering.

  • 6-9 years of experiencebuilding web applications with strong hands-onexpertiseinJava Spring BootJavaScript.

  • Proven experience implementingRESTful APIs using Java.

  • Strong working knowledge ofSQL Server or Oracledatabases.

  • Familiarity with modernfrontendframeworks such asorAngular.

  • ProficiencywithSDLC methodologies including Agile andTest-Driven Development (TDD).

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshootingskills.

  • Experience working incloud environments especiallyAWS.
