Job Title: EHS Manager (Manufacturing & Construction)
Location:Cambridge Ohio
Employment Type:Full-Time
Position Summary

We areseekingan experiencedEnvironmental Health & Safety (EHS) Managerto lead and manage safety programs across our manufacturing facilities and construction projects. This roleis responsible forensuring compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations while driving a proactive safety culture that protects employees contractors and the surrounding community.
The ideal candidate is hands-on confident working in both manufacturing and construction environments and capable of partnering with leadership to continuously improve safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance

  • Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs aligned with OSHA EPA and applicable federal state and local regulations
  • Ensure compliance across manufacturing operations and active construction sites
  • Lead job hazard analyses (JHAs) risk assessments and safety audits
Training & Culture
  • Design and deliver EHS training for employees supervisors and contractors
  • Promote a strong safety culture through coaching engagement and leadership presence
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for EHS best practices
Incident Management
  • Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Track and analyze safety metrics trends and leading indicators
  • Prepare andsubmitrequired regulatory reports
Environmental Management
  • Manage environmental programs including waste management air and water compliance and hazardous materials
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support inspections and audits
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Partner with operations engineering and project teams to integrate safety into daily activities and project planning
  • Support construction site safety planning contractor onboarding and site inspections
  • ReportEHS performance and improvement initiatives to senior leadership
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelors degree in Safety Environmental Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 years of EHS experience inmanufacturing and construction environments
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA EPA and applicable safety regulations
  • Proven experience leading safety programs and investigations
  • Excellent communication training and leadership skills
Preferred
  • CSP ASP CHST or similar certification
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Ability to work in manufacturing and construction environments
  • Regular site visits including active construction areas
  • Ability to travel as needed
