Job Summary

JM Family Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineering Manager to join our Southeast Toyota Finance Data Engineering team. The Data Engineering Manager leads and develops a high-performing team in charge of delivering scalable reliable and well-governed data solutions that support the companys strategic goals. This role blends people leadership technical direction and strategic thinking to translate business needs into effective data solutions.

This is an onsite/hybrid role from our Deerfield Beach campus in South Florida.

Responsibilities:

Lead mentor and develop ateam of data engineers and modelers providing technical guidance bestpractices and professional growth while fostering a high-performing teamculture
Define implement and evolve a comprehensive data engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
Partner with stakeholdersacross the company to understand their data needs and deliver solutionsthat meet those needs
Oversee the design deliveryand operation of scalable data solutions and processes supporting diversedata sources aligned with enterprise standards infrastructure guidelines and best practices
Drive multiple dataengineering projects from conception to deployment while managing projecttimelines deliverables and resources effectively
Establish and enforce dataengineering standards solution patterns and best practices
Ensure data qualityreliability and integrity through robust engineering practices andadherence to data governance policies and practices
Identify problems analyzeroot causes and implement solutions to improve processes and outcomes
Obtain and maintain a deepknowledge of SETF business processes technologies and dataenvironments
Stay current on industry bestpractices new features capabilities and updates in Microsoft AzureSynapse and emerging data technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance the companys data infrastructure

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in ComputerScience Data Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
7 years of SQL in a data-related role
7 years of data integration and ETL toolexperience
3 years of proven leadershipskills with the ability to develop effective teams hold associatesaccountable for results and manage and lead throughchange
Azure cloud platformknowledge required
Experience withAgile methodology and Azure DevOps preferred
Project management skills todrive data initiatives and ensure timely delivery with qualityresults in an efficient and effective manner
Engages withstakeholders at all levels to encourage collaboration strategicalignment and build relationships
Embraces innovation andefforts to elevate and evolve processes
Demonstrates leadershipcourage and empowers associates to take ownership and accountability
Impressive analyticalcapabilities executive presence critical thinking and the abilityto translate complex data requirements into practical solutions
Solid verbal and writtencommunication skills with the ability to present to internal and externalstakeholders
Experience in the automotiveor captive finance industry is a plus
