POSITION SUMMARY

The Security Concierge supports the operations at Embraers Melbourne Campus at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport. This role has an important Customer-facing responsibility to represent the brand during Customer guests and regulator interactions and further supports the security department in duties outlined below.

This role is responsible for welcoming employees regulators customers vendors and guests badging employees access control to the area of responsibility and enforcing overall security requirements. This Employee is expected to be customer oriented respectful friendly always on time and very organized. Coordination with and direction of the guard force is required as well as knowledge of access control systems and the ability to trouble shoot initial investigations.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Administrative Support: Prepare correspondence for security management manage incoming mail and support departmental documentation and workflow needs.
  • Badge Management: Create employee badges and manage access permissions for the Embraer campus using the ProWatch system.
  • Access Control & Surveillance: Oversee access control and CCTV systems ensuring real-time monitoring site security and compliance with access protocols.
  • Visitor Management System (VMS): Manage the VMS including the screening and approval of flagged personnel. Manage visitor badging and provide Customers/Guests with Badges.
  • Visitor Engagement: Welcome external vendors/visitors upon arrival verify their VMS invitation or QR code and promptly notify the host of their check-in.
  • Non-U.S. Employee Visit Coordination: Oversee the full process of granting temporary badges and access privileges for international employees during their visits to U.S. facilities.
  • Airport Operations Area (AOA) Access (where applicable): Serve as an Authorized Signatory for AOA access conducting routine audits and ensuring compliance with airport authority standards.
  • Emergency Services Assistance: Provide on-site support for Emergency Services during incidents.
  • Crisis Management Support: Support the CSO with crisis preparation response and recovery activities including logistical and operational tasks.
  • Data Management: Enter retrieve and maintain sensitive data in designated security databases ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Training: Conduct access control and onboarding training for personnel ensuring consistent practices and compliance with corporate security standards.
  • Cost Management: Track and manage invoices associated with the security cost center ensuring accurate financial reporting. SAP Focal point for purchasing of office supplies and payment of vendors.
  • Operational Support: Assist in the oversight of contracted security personnel with daily operations including entry control employee updates and maintenance of contact lists.
  • Monitor and guide local guard force with requirements as directed by CSO and PSS.
  • Professional personal presentation and personal hygiene are of extreme importance.
  • Business Professional dress code.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:

  • High School Degree completed required
  • Bachelors Degree preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a customer facing access control position.
  • Previous Law Enforcement Military or Security work highly desirable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong computer skills.

  • Able to multitask and reprioritize. Handles pressure well.

  • Ability to be detail-oriented and resourceful in a customer focused environment.
  • Ability to anticipate Customers and guests needs.
  • Bilingual language skills preferred but not required.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA EPA State and Federal regulations.
  • Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor to support business needs.
  • Formal and Business Casual Attire required.
  • Availability for both traditional and non-traditional business hours.
  • I-9 completion.
