About the role:
Cresta Insights: As a Staff full-stack engineer with a backend focus you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of customer engagement! As we work towards our vision youll be instrumental in delivering timely actionable insights that drive business growth from day one. Were building a state-of-the-art Customer Data Platform visualizing relevant insights for businesses post-onboarding and guiding customer engagement across all touch-points. Be part of the team thats redefining the way businesses connect with their customers!
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain backend services and APIs to support applications.
- Build and optimize data storage solutions usingPostgresClickHouseandElasticsearchto ensure high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers data scientists and machine learning engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in distributed systems and databases.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices for backend development.
- Participate in code reviews testing and continuous integration efforts.
- Ensure security scalability and reliability of backend services.
- Analyze and improve system architecture focusing on performance bottlenecks scaling and security.
Qualifications We Value:
- Proven experience as aBackend Engineerwith a focus on database design and system architecture.
- Strong expertise inClickHouseor similar columnar databases for managing large-scale real-time analytical queries.
- Hands-on experience withElasticsearchfor indexing and searching large datasets.
- Proficient in backend programming languages such asPythonGo.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with performance tuning data modeling and query optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation for this position includes a base salary equity and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors including experience skillset and location as well as applicable local pay requirements.
