The Spa Manager is responsible for the overall leadership performance and guest experience of the spa operation at Faena New York. This role oversees all aspects of spa operations including service quality team leadership financial performance scheduling retail and guest satisfaction. The Spa Manager serves as the steward of the spas identityensuring every experience reflects Faenas commitment to artistry wellness and elevated hospitality.
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $110000 per year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily spa operations ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to brand standards
Manage scheduling for therapists attendants and front desk staff to align with demand and labor targets
Ensure all treatment rooms facilities and guest areas are impeccably maintained and guest-ready
Partner with Engineering and Housekeeping to address maintenance cleanliness and safety issues
Ensure a consistently exceptional guest journey from booking through post-treatment follow-up
Personally handle escalated guest concerns and service recovery with discretion and professionalism
Maintain high service standards across treatments amenities and guest interactions
Collaborate with Guest Relations and Front Office on VIP guests and bespoke wellness experiences
Recruit onboard train and develop spa team members
Foster a culture of professionalism warmth and accountability
Conduct performance evaluations coaching sessions and corrective action when necessary
Ensure all therapists maintain required licenses certifications and training compliance
Manage spa revenue expenses labor costs and profitability
Drive treatment utilization retail sales and upselling initiatives
Monitor KPIs including booking pace utilization guest satisfaction and payroll
Oversee inventory management for spa products linens and supplies
Partner with leadership on treatment menu development seasonal offerings and wellness programming
Ensure spa offerings align with Faenas aesthetic guest demographic and brand positioning
Support marketing initiatives special events and collaborations tied to wellness
Qualifications :
5 years of spa or wellness management experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment
Strong leadership background managing multidisciplinary teams
Solid understanding of spa operations treatments scheduling and retail
Experience managing budgets forecasting and performance metrics
Knowledge of wellness trends holistic therapies and luxury service standards
