Job Summary
Dallas Hybrid
An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a lateral associate to join its Restructuring and Special Situations Finance practice in Dallas.
This role is well-suited for an associate with experience in restructuring distressed finance or complex credit transactions who is interested in sophisticated high-stakes matters involving financially distressed borrowers and special situations.
The Role
The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of restructuring and special situations finance matters including distressed financings debtor-in-possession facilities rescue financings and related transactions. The practice offers meaningful responsibility direct client exposure and involvement in complex time-sensitive matters.
Ideal Background
Prior experience in restructuring bankruptcy or complex finance transactions
Exposure to distressed debt special situations or DIP financings preferred
Strong drafting analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy in fast-moving situations
Admitted in Texas or eligible to waive in
