Job Title: Full Time Teaching Assistant

Salary: 17181 - 18288 (12.79 - 14.58 per hour ) Grade 3 to 5 depending on qualifications.

* For class cover there is an additional weekly payment

Hours per week: 30.4 hrs per week - (8.45 - 15:20 ) with 30 minutes lunch break.

Grade: G3-5 dependant on qualifications and experience (exact timing to be decided after employment) 38 weeks per year

Contract Length: Temporary 1 year contract with possibility of continued employment afterwards.

Start Date: 4th May 2026 or sooner if available.

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  
  
• Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and implementing appropriate strategies
  
  
• Experience of using a PACE (relationship-based) approach
  
  
• Evidence of building positive relationships with pupils parents and staff
  
  
• Experience of providing class cover
  
  
• Knowledge of and experience with White Rose Maths and Read Write Inc. phonics
  
  
• A flexible and adaptable approach to supporting learning across the school
  
  
• A full driving licence
