Role Overview
We are seeking a Catalog Quality Senior Specialist to drive Catalog adoption and ensure a consistently high standard of product data quality within their country. This role is critical to establishing the Catalog as the single source of truth for packaged goods enabling scalable operations faster onboarding and an improved customer experience.
You will work closely with local Operations teams to embed the Catalog into day-to-day workflows while collaborating cross-functionally with external vendors and global teams to steer catalog-related initiatives forward. Acting as the local subject-matter expert on catalog structure data quality and compliance you will guide stakeholders validate automated and vendor-provided data and influence decision-making to ensure successful adoption and long-term quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Catalog Data Ownership (60%)
- Review and validate product data from automation merchants and vendors before publication
- Maintain high-quality standards for product data grounded in established compliance frameworks and supported by an ongoing commitment to staying informed and updated on local product data regulations
- Resolve duplicate GTINs and support clean deduplication/migration into the Unified Catalog
- Help create and enrich entries for unlisted products based on local needs using merchant input vendor data or AI-generated suggestions.
- Ensure adherence to global attribute frameworks; escalate mismatches to Global Catalog & Data Quality
2. AI/Automation QA (10%)
- Curate golden datasets for AI model training and evaluation (e.g. for LLMs).
- Audit and approve automation outputs during pilot phases
- Identify local linguistic or structural nuances that impact automation accuracy
- Collaborate with Product & Applied Science to refine automation models and improve QA logic
3. Stakeholder Support & Feedback Loops (30%)
- Serve as the go-to expert for catalog data structure taxonomy and enrichment logic in your country
- Support local Sales and Merchant Ops in catalog updates and onboarding efficiency
- Provide structured feedback to global teams on catalog tooling automation and schema
- Participate in global process pilots tool launches and content governance reviews.
What Were Looking For
- 3 years of experience in catalog/content management product data QA or similar fields.
- High proficiency in structured data management with a quality-first mindset.
- Experience working with AI/ML models QA workflows or automation processes is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Fluent in Hungarian and English; any additional language is a bonus.
- Experience working with large datasets in spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets is required
- First project management experience is a plus
