The Role
AnyRoad is looking for a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Finance team and play a key role in our continued growth and achievement of operational excellence.
The Senior Accountant must possess strong accounting and operational expertise an ability to communicate and work with cross-functional teams and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a technology company.
Reporting to the CFO the Senior Accountant will assist in nearly all day-to-day areas of the companys accounting and will be responsible for most monthly and quarterly close tasks. This role is a remote position in the United States but can be a hybrid (Monday/Wednesday in office) role in the SF Bay Area.
What Youll Do
- Post bank transactions and handle bank reconciliations
- Prepare various journal entries to the general ledger for cash revenue prepaids fixed assets and accruals
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare financial settlements for BSide artists
- Process employee expense reimbursements using Expensify/Ramp
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and controls
- Recommend process improvements and enhancements
- Assist the finance team with monthly and quarterly close cycles for timely financial results
- Provide support to the Finance team on ad hoc projects as needed
What Were Looking For
- Someone who isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves and dig into large data sets
- Bachelors degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience preferably at a SaaS company
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Stripe SQL and/or Intacct a huge plus
$85000 - $105000 a year
Actual compensation will be determined based on location experience qualifications and other job-related factors.
