Role: Residential Support Worker (Casual)

Salary: 13.95 an hour

Location: Yatton North Somerset

Contract/Hours Casual to suit your work/life balance studies and retirement/second job.

Thisrolewillbe working as a Casual for the service. Shifts are 7.30-20.00 9.30-21.30 and sleep ins are 10.00 till 10.30 the next day. You will be paid 50.00 per sleep-in.

Our Residential Support Workers create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will ensure their wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care guidance and advocacy. It is key that they stay safe and healthyand can reach their full potential.

OurPlace is a 3-bed permanentresidentialhome forchildrenand young people aged between 8 18 who have various to create a homely andsupportiveenvironmentwhere thechildrencan thrive and develop byussupportingthemwithhousehold tasks and all aspects of theircare.

What we would like you to do:

  • Provideleadcase/care planningmanagement including assessing reviewing and managing risk.
  • Co-ordinatingresponsibilitieswithin theservicewithmulti agency and producing familyinformation includinganalysisand written reports.
  • Attendance atprofessionalmeetings including reviews courtworketc.

  • Demonstrableexperience of working in acaresetting anddevelopingpositiverelationshipsthroughtrust
  • Application of a range of techniques to co-ordinate andcommunicatewithserviceusers and their families.
  • Demonstrate a solution focused approach to address problemsindividuallyand in a team setting.
  • Demonstrateemotionalresilienceto respond to thechallengingnature of therole.
  • Possess a Level 3 Diploma inResidentialChildcare (or recognisedequivalent)or if you do not possess this you must be prepared to complete this within 2 years of commencing employmentwithus fullsupportwillbe provided.
