Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join our Sports Direct store in this dynamic retail role you will deliver exceptional customer service whilst maintaining our high store standards and contributing to our sales performance. This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable retail skills in a fast-paced collaborative environment where your energy and dedication will make a real difference.
- Engage with customers on the shop floor to provide outstanding personalised service and product recommendations
- Actively contribute to achieving and exceeding store sales targets through confident and friendly interactions
- Maintain excellent store presentation through stock replenishment organisation and visual merchandising in line with Sports Direct brand standards
- Assist with deliveries stock processing and inventory accuracy to ensure efficient store operations
- Ensure pricing is accurate and up to date across all product lines
- Support stock counts and maintain organised stockroom standards
- Operate the till accurately and process customer transactions with efficiency and care
- Represent the Sports Direct brand values with pride and professionalism at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members to support one another and achieve collective goals
- Respond flexibly to business needs and adapt to changing priorities throughout your shift
Qualifications :
- Customer-focused with a genuine passion for delivering excellent retail service
- Confident friendly communicator with strong people skills
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work a range of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Driven and goal-oriented committed to achieving targets and contributing to team success
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Physically capable of handling stock and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong numeracy skills for till operations and pricing accuracy
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative supportive atmosphere
- Proud to represent the Sports Direct brand and uphold our organisational values
- Desirable: Previous retail or customer service experience
- Desirable: Knowledge of sports and outdoor products
- Desirable: Visual merchandising awareness
