Purpose:Our team of engineers designers and technical specialists are in the forefront of technology in the medical device industry. As a key member ofour group you will beleadingefforts to deliver automated assembly equipment to supportourNew Product Development (NPD) pipeline. You will work withleadershipteamsNPDequipmentsuppliersand manufacturing partnerstomake this a reality.This roleprovidesan opportunity to bring exciting newassembly technology to lifewhile also providingsignificantleadership and professional growthopportunities.

You willbe responsible for:

• Lead collaborationwithNPDequipmentsuppliersand our manufacturing plants to bring full-scale production solutions from concept to stable production.

• Be accountable for the technicaldevelopmentdebugging and characterization ofautomated assembly processesensuring successful FAT andproduction qualification.

• Investigate and enable new manufacturing technologies and process improvements including automationto drive innovation and reduce time to market.

• Encourage technical mastery collaboration cross-training criticalthinkingand problem solving. Coach individuals asto drive stronger business results.

• ChampionDFAconcepts in product design.

• Identifyand deliverequipmentdevelopmentprocess improvement initiatives.

• Ensure projects are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements (GMP ISO MDD) EES policy and procedure requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Abachelors degree in engineeringor equivalent experience.

• 12 years of proven experience in a dynamic R&D environment with emphasis on production line developmentis.

• Experience in a medical device production environment or other regulated environmentis

• Experience developing manualsemi-automatedand automatedassembly processesforsmall complex components.

• Demonstrated ability tosuccessfully leadequipment debug characterization FAT and qualification activities.

• Ability toset strategy anddriveassemblyrequirementsto resolutionwith internal stakeholders andthird-partyequipment integrators.

• Must haveproventrack recordof achievingobjectivesin ateam-basedenvironment.

• Excellent communicationnetworkingteamwork problemsolvingand influencing skills. Must be proficient at breaking down complex issues to drive to succinct solutions.

• Process Excellence Six Sigma knowledgeis.

• Significant experiencedeveloping automated assembly processesisstrongly preferred.

• Vision systems and controlsdevelopment experienceispreferred

• This position may requireup to 25%of domesticand international travel.
