You willbe responsible for:
Lead collaborationwithNPDequipmentsuppliersand our manufacturing plants to bring full-scale production solutions from concept to stable production.
Be accountable for the technicaldevelopmentdebugging and characterization ofautomated assembly processesensuring successful FAT andproduction qualification.
Investigate and enable new manufacturing technologies and process improvements including automationto drive innovation and reduce time to market.
Encourage technical mastery collaboration cross-training criticalthinkingand problem solving. Coach individuals asto drive stronger business results.
ChampionDFAconcepts in product design.
Identifyand deliverequipmentdevelopmentprocess improvement initiatives.
Ensure projects are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements (GMP ISO MDD) EES policy and procedure requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Abachelors degree in engineeringor equivalent experience.
12 years of proven experience in a dynamic R&D environment with emphasis on production line developmentis.
Experience in a medical device production environment or other regulated environmentis
Experience developing manualsemi-automatedand automatedassembly processesforsmall complex components.
Demonstrated ability tosuccessfully leadequipment debug characterization FAT and qualification activities.
Ability toset strategy anddriveassemblyrequirementsto resolutionwith internal stakeholders andthird-partyequipment integrators.
Must haveproventrack recordof achievingobjectivesin ateam-basedenvironment.
Excellent communicationnetworkingteamwork problemsolvingand influencing skills. Must be proficient at breaking down complex issues to drive to succinct solutions.
Process Excellence Six Sigma knowledgeis.
Significant experiencedeveloping automated assembly processesisstrongly preferred.
Vision systems and controlsdevelopment experienceispreferred
This position may requireup to 25%of domesticand international travel.
