Job Summary

Im hiring for an exciting opportunity for an Associate Fire Engineer or AD to lead and grow a Fire Engineering team within a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy. This role involves delivering technically robust sustainable and compliant fire strategies across high-profile UK projects in sectors such as residential commercial education and master planning.

You will be responsible for managing key client relationships mentoring junior engineers and delivering high-quality fire safety design solutions.

The role also includes contributing to internal technical leadership supporting climate-positive outcomes and helping shape the direction of the fire team nationally.

Ideal Candidate:

10 years experience in fire engineering within consultancy
Deep knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards (ADB BS9999 etc.)
Strong leadership communication and client-facing skills
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards it
Passion for sustainability and innovation in fire design
Experience managing teams projects and design deliverables across all RIBA stages
