Location

Hybrid role based in Hammond Indiana with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Note

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Indiana and have 5 years of relevant litigation experience including deposition experience.

Job Description

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish
• Attend hearings in various counties and courthouses
• Drive deadlines case strategy and next steps across active matters
• Research and analyze statutes rules regulations and case law to support litigation strategy
• Assist with document review and case development as needed
• Work across practice areas including insurance coverage construction bodily injury professional malpractice and mass torts

Qualifications

• Active Indiana Bar license in good standing (Illinois license preferred)
• 5 years of relevant defense litigation experience
• Deposition experience required
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong legal writing skills and ability to provide writing samples
• Strong organization communication and analytical skills
