Job Overview
We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer with 3 to 5 years of handson experience in structural analysis design and evaluation of RCC and steel structures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in structural design software a solid understanding of international and local design codes and experience in structural assessments and condition surveys of existing buildings.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on structural design assessment and rehabilitation projects in a professional and technically driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures
- Conduct structural assessments condition surveys and evaluations of existing structures
- Prepare detailed design calculations technical reports and drawings
- Ensure designs comply with ACI AISC BS and local building codes
- Coordinate with architects MEP engineers and site teams
- Review shop drawings and provide technical support during construction
- Assist in preparation of BOQs technical proposals and tender documents
- Support project execution with engineering expertise and problemsolving
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
- 35 years of professional experience in structural design (mandatory)
- Strong experience in RCC and steel structure design
- Proficiency in structural software:
- ETABS
- SAFE
- SAP2000
- STAAD
- AutoCAD
- Experience in structural assessment and evaluation projects (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of structural design codes (ACI AISC BS local codes)
- Strong analytical documentation and reportwriting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
