Job Summary

Our client Big Entities is looking for SABRE Software Engineer in Lahore.

Job Summary:

A person skilled and experienced SABRE Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with specific expertise in the SABRE system used in the travel and hospitality industry. The role involves developing maintaining and optimizing SABRE-based applications to enhance our business operations and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop record and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on the portal and premium service platforms.
Build innovative state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
Ensure HTML CSS and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
Work on the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
Convey effectively with all task progress evaluations suggestions schedules along with technical and process issues.
Document the development process architecture and standard components.
Coordinate with co-developers and keep the leader well informed of the status of development effort and serve as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum 8-10 years of related experience
Engineering degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience with SABRE Web Services and APIs.
Experience with other Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus or Travelport is a Plus.
Proven experience as a PHP developer with in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel framework.
Hands-on experience with SQL schema design SOLID principles REST API design.
MySQL profiling and query optimization.
Creative and efficient problem solver.
Good working experience with modern JavaScript framework (Angular React)
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript).
Experience with version control tools (Git).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and a team player.
Proficient English both written and verbal
