We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy. This is a key role in our financial operations ensuring precision compliance and maintaining GAAP standards. As a member of the finance team youll have the opportunity to support strategic decision-making drive efficiency and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Support AP AR and Payroll functions as needed
Assist with financial reporting audits and other renewals
Perform ad hoc analysis and accounting projects as assigned
Ensure adherence to multi-jurisdiction regulatory requirements
Review and Maintain Fixed Assets
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
3 years of accounting experience (public or private)
Strong understanding of GAAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage Netsuite SAP)
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA candidate or certification is a plus
Experience in the retail or furniture industry is a bonus
