An established food production company is looking for an experienced Planning Manager with strong expertise in production planning supply chain coordination and operational management. The ideal candidate will be highly organised analytical and able to optimise production schedules to meet business objectives efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage production plans ensuring timely and efficient workflow.
Coordinate with procurement production and distribution teams to align resources and schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock for production requirements.
Analyse production performance identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
Forecast demand and adjust planning strategies to meet changing business needs.
Prepare reports on production performance utilisation and efficiency.
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Logistics or Production Management.
Proven experience in production planning or operational management preferably in the food industry.
Strong analytical problem-solving and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production planning software.
