We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team.

Role Overview

This apprenticeship offers hands on experience working alongside qualified refrigeration technicians. You will gain exposure to a wide range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems while completing your formal training.

General Duties

• Assist qualified refrigeration technicians with the installation servicing maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
• Assist with fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and electrical systems
• Safely use hand tools power tools and testing equipment
• Learn and follow safe work practices including WHS requirements and site safety procedures
• Maintain accurate job documentation and assist with reporting
• Communicate professionally with supervisors team members and customers when required
• Attend TAFE and complete all training and assessment requirements of the apprenticeship

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Physically capable of manual work in commercial and industrial environments
• Basic computer literacy for job documentation and training
• Current drivers licence
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Essential Selection Criteria

• Current Australian drivers licence
• White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
• Genuine interest in a refrigeration trade apprenticeship
• Ability to attend and complete required TAFE training
• Right to work in Australia
• Physically fit and able to work in commercial and industrial environments
• Basic understanding of workplace safety
