Key responsibilities include:
Philosophical Enquiry: Delivering high-level lessons on moral philosophy the philosophy of religion and the historical development of world faiths.
Academic Rigour: Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies focusing on sophisticated essay writing and the evaluation of complex theological arguments.
Seminar Leadership: Facilitating respectful yet challenging classroom debates on contemporary ethical issues from bioethics to social justice.
Cultural Capital: Organising visits to diverse places of worship and hosting guest speakers from various philosophical and faith backgrounds.
