The Role & Responsibilities Supporting the Head of History you will deliver a broad and diverse curriculum that spans from the medieval period to modern global politics encouraging students to challenge traditional narratives.
Subject Delivery: Teaching History across KS3 GCSE and A-Level focusing on evidence-based argument source analysis and complex essay writing.
Academic Societies: Leading the schools Historical Society and coordinating guest speaker events with leading academics and authors.
University Support: Providing specialist advice and mock interview practice for students applying for History Law and International Relations at Russell Group and global universities.
Cross-Curricular Projects: Collaborating with the Politics and Economics departments on Contemporary Affairs seminars for the Sixth Form.
Requirements
Degree: A high-level degree in History or a closely related discipline (e.g. Politics).
QTS: Essential for this permanent appointment.
Right to Work: Valid right to work in the UK required.

Salary Range:(M1 UPS3 equivalent)
