Job Summary
Are you a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school We are looking for an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Birmingham starting in April 2026. This is a full-time permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced DT Teachers as well as ECTs.

About the DT Department
The DT department is vibrant innovative and successful offering modern workshops CAD/CAM equipment and strong curriculum planning. Staff work collaboratively and students produce high-quality practical and design work.
About the Role
As a DT Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Teaching DT across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing to curriculum development and resource creation
Maintaining a stimulating learning environment
Working collaboratively across the department
Participating in relevant professional learning opportunities
Experience and Qualifications
DT Product Design Engineering or related Degree
QTS or PGCE
Strong subject knowledge
Salary
Paid to scale (MPS/UPS).
